Pistil Pendant

The Pistil Pendant is crafted from multiple layers of blown crystal, gather upon gather, to create a svelte yet muscular form that magnifies its surroundings and reflects its interior armature. This pendant, like all of Alison Berger’s designs, is blown in her Los Angeles atelier and annealed for several days before being finished by hand. Each is truly one of a kind.

The crystal in all of the Alison Berger Glassworks collection is hand blown. The process itself uses no molds or form constraints to shape the piece. Each fixture is a unique piece of functional art. The material qualities of this process will sometimes result in small air bubbles and actual tool marks, which are desirable evidence of the artisanal process.
