Nest Pendant

The Nest Pendant exemplifies 17th-century glass-working techniques, featuring hand-blown crystal and hand-carved botanical imagery, reinterpreted into a contemporary illumination piece where light and shadow shift throughout the day, subtly reminding us of nature’s powerful beauty.

The crystal in all of the Alison Berger Glassworks collection is hand blown. The process itself uses no molds or form constraints to shape the piece. Each fixture is a unique piece of functional art. The material qualities of this process will sometimes result in small air bubbles and actual tool marks, which are desirable evidence of the artisanal process.
